2022.01.24 22:11 Chabby_Chubby Crushing difficulty - UC 1-3 vs UC 4.
I have just completed UC4 on crushing, and now I am playing UC 2 (on normal difficulty) just for the hell of it, I have also completed that on crushing a while back. Now I tried for fun to turn the difficulty up on crushing in UC2, and I just feel like you die way easier on crushing in UC2, and probably also 1 and 3, than you do on crushing in UC 4.
Is it just me talking out of the ass, or is there something about it? Also the amount of enemies you have to defeat in the old games are wack! They just keep fucking coming!

2022.01.24 22:11 Pea-and-Pen Can you use machine embroidery thread with hand embroidery?
There are some people on Facebook Marketplace selling their embroidery machines and threads. I don’t want the machine but wondered if the threads could be used.

2022.01.24 22:11 anzeld Feeling sick after a while every time I drink G Fuel
So I want to preface this by saying that I'm not used to caffeine. I don't drink coffee, and never really have, and I only tried energy drinks a few times in my life before.
I never got into it because they don't seem to give me anything. I don't feel like I have more energy or more "awake" and it just feels like a scam of sorts. I tried monster a couple times before.
I was interested in G Fuel because I heard about it and wanted to try some of the weird flavours so I got some of it. I drank it every once in a while, usually one full shaker (500ml) and that's it. I didn't notice the pattern at first because it seems to be delayed, but I think it makes me feel sick.
After a few hours, I have a stomach churning feeling. I can't sleep because of it, though I don't feel any more awake or less tired or whatever it's supposed to do. I'd compare the feeling to the kind of feeling you get when you feel bad or anxious about something. I stopped drinking G Fuel for months, and then I tried it again recently because I figured it couldn't really have been that bad or I drank too much of it last time, then it happens again, and it actually took me a while to make the connection when I started feeling sick but I eventually realised the cause.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Should I stop drinking it, and is a full shaker too much? I normally only drink water, I don't drink alcohol either, and sodas only outside, so I'm not very careful with amounts or used to limiting myself when drinking.

Hi, vegetarian here. I'm here on your lovely island for a week and really enjoying it! I've been getting by on pizza, Thai and my own cooking so far. I would really love to try some Spanish/Canarian food but can't seem to find any vege options. Any reccomendations of places in Santa Cruz/La Laguna?

2022.01.24 22:11 FireBeast32 Macai LT Ski/Winter Layering
After reading about the different jackets offered by Arc’teryx, I think I’m about ready to pull the trigger on a Macai LT jacket. I plan to use it for skiing in -10 to 25F resort skiing as well as for some light cross country and snowshoeing. My question is, what should I layer under this jacket? I understand if works as both a mid layer and shell so I’ll most likely just wear a base under it but do any Macai users have suggestions for which base layers I should use?
Currently have a Capilene Air and an Under Armor skin tight shirt, would these be good for the jacket? Also, how durable are Macais for everyday use?
